Roast pig is a sort of Chinese special, it can be found in any Chinese restaurant and is eaten for all sorts of special occasions from weddings to funerals dinners. It’s also often eaten for dinner as a take out dish, like I did this past weekend. For some reason, the roast pig I had this weekend hit me that I really shouldn’t be eating too much of it. It’s fattier than usual, probably half of it fat. Or maybe I just never noticed because it’s so damn good. A little heart attack risk won’t stop me, but maybe I’ll cut down a bit.
