Apple announced iCloud yesterday, it’s what’s been going around the blogs for a couple of weeks and then some. Instead of just syncing music like everyone thought, iCloud will be syncing everything, all sorts of content on several device.
That’s good and all, but what does this mean for Dropbox? This is really going to cut into Dropbox’s territory, since sharing content wirelessly between devices is what makes Dropbox shine. They will still shine, because Dropbox works on all platforms, not just Apple. Either way, this will make a dent (how big, that’s to be seen) in Dropbox’s market share. I hope it doesn’t affect their free service, I use and love it everyday.
